Clearchos Marousakis gives a new forecast for the weather and the end of high temperatures.
In particular, although the rain and good for the season weather conditions will continue until the beginning of next week, according to meteorologist Clearchos Marousakis, the anticyclone that is currently over Greece and prevents the entry of cold air masses that will bring rains in our country, it will “break” and move further north.

When do the first rains come?
“An atmospheric circulation has arisen that does not keep pace with the season we are in, as a result of which we have prolonged rainlessness, good weather conditions, with the unique dissonance of the north wind which will strengthen a little today in the Aegean[…] Until November 5th, we don’t seem to have significant rains in our country” said Mr. Marousakis.
This will happen after November 5th, specifically November 7th to 10th.
“It shows the atmospheric circulation to change on November 7 to 10, where the anticyclone will break and it will move towards the north-northwest parts of Europe to open the way for bad weather to come to us from central and northern Europe that will give more rain”, he notes characteristically.

Almost clear weather with sparse clouds temporarily denser mainly in the west, central and north. In Thessaly, the Sporades, Evia, eastern Sterea, the Cyclades and Crete a few clouds increased in places with a small chance of light local rains of short duration in Evia in the morning hours.
In the morning hours in the west and north, mainly continental, visibility will be locally limited.
Winds in the west will be variable 2 to 4 Beaufort, while in the east they will blow from north directions 4 to 6 and in the Aegean locally 7 Beaufort.
The temperature will not change significantly and will remain at normal levels for the season. It will reach the north, the Cyclades and northern Crete at 21 to 23 degrees and in the rest of the country 24 to 26 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature values in the lowlands of the central and northern mainland will range from 5 to 8 degrees Celsius.

- Weather: Generally sunny with a few local clouds in the morning hours. Scattered clouds from the afternoon.
- Winds: North northeast 4 to 6 and in the east locally up to 7 Beaufort.

THESSALONIKI
- Weather: Partly cloudy until midday and gradually clear.
- Winds: Variable 2 to 3 Beaufort.
- Temperature: From 09 to 22 degrees Celsius.

- Weather: Generally clear with sparse clouds at times in Macedonia.
- Winds: Variable 2 to 3, in the eastern sea 4 to 5 and locally until noon 6 Beaufort.
- Temperature: From 05 to 23 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia it will be 2 to 3 degrees lower.
IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIROS, WEST STEREA, WEST PELOPONNISOS
- Weather: Scattered clouds temporarily thicker.
- Winds: From easterly directions 2 to 4 Beaufort gradually turning to north northwesterly with the same intensity.
- Temperature: From 11 to 25 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus the minimum will be 3 to 4 degrees lower.
EASTERN STEREA, EVIA, EASTERN PELOPONNISOS
- Weather: Generally clear with a few clouds in places increased mainly in Evia in the morning hours, so it is possible that light local rains will occur.

CYCLADES, CRETE
- Weather: In the Cyclades, generally sunny with few clouds. In Crete, local clouds temporarily increased.

- Temperature: From 17 to 23 and locally in southern Crete up to 25 to 26 degrees Celsius.
EAST AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANISE
- Weather: Generally clear.
- Winds: From north directions 4 to 5 and on the islands of the eastern Aegean locally up to 6 Beaufort.
- Temperature: From 16 to 26 degrees Celsius. In the north the maximum will be 2 to 3 degrees lower.
THESSALY
- Weather: Generally clear with a few clouds in places increased in the east and the Sporades
- Winds: Variable 3 to 4 Beaufort and in the Sporades north northeast 4 to 5 Beaufort.
- Temperature: From 08 to 23 degrees Celsius.

Winds to the west will be variable 2 to 4 Beaufort. In the east, winds will blow from north directions 4 to 6 and in the Aegean locally 7 Beaufort.
The temperature will not change appreciably. It will reach 21 to 23 degrees in the northern mainland and the Cyclades, 24 to 25 in the rest of the country and locally 26 degrees Celsius in the southern mainland, southern Crete and the Dodecanese.

Winds will be west east southeast 3 to 5 Beaufort. In the east, 3 to 5 winds will blow from northerly directions and in the Aegean locally 6 Beaufort winds.
