The temperature in the country will be maintained at high levels for the season in the coming days as well, according to the National Weather Service.
In central and eastern Macedonia and Thrace, sparse clouds which will thicken from noon and in the afternoon-afternoon there may be isolated rain mainly in the mountains of eastern Macedonia and Thrace. In the rest of the areas clear weather with sparse clouds at times, which will be denser in the midday and afternoon hours in the continental highlands.
The winds will blow north northwest 3 to 5 and in the southeast Aegean 5 to 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will not change appreciably. It will reach 24 to 26 degrees in the western and northern mainland, locally 28 degrees Celsius in the eastern mainland, while in the island country 22 to 24 degrees and in places in Crete 25 degrees Celsius.
MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather: Sparse clouds, which from midday in central and eastern Macedonia and Thrace will thicken and in the midday-afternoon there may be isolated rain mainly in the mountains of eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
Winds: Variable 2 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 08 to 26 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia the minimum is 2 to 3 degrees lower.
IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIROS, WEST STEREA, WEST PELOPONNISOS
Weather: Generally clear with sparse clouds at times, which will be denser in places in the mountains in the midday and afternoon hours.
Winds: Northwest 3 to 4 and in the northern Ionian locally 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 09 to 26 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus the minimum is 3 to 4 degrees lower.
EASTERN STEREA, EVIA, EASTERN PELOPONNISOS
Weather: Generally clear with sparse clouds from midday, which will be denser in places in the mountains during the midday and afternoon hours.
Winds: Variable 2 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 08 to 28 degrees Celsius.
CYCLADES, CRETE
Weather: Generally clear with sparse clouds from the evening.
Winds: Northwest 3 to 4 and in eastern sections 4 to 5 and locally 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 13 to 25 degrees Celsius.
EAST AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANISE
Weather: Generally clear. Sparse clouds in the north from midday and in the rest of the areas from the evening. At night the clouds in the north will thicken in some places.
Winds: North northwest 3 to 5 and south 5 to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 13 to 24 degrees Celsius. In the north the minimum is 2 to 3 degrees lower.
THESSALY
Weather: Generally clear with sparse clouds from midday, which will be denser in places in the mountains during the midday and afternoon hours.
Winds: Variable patients.
Temperature: From 08 to 27 degrees Celsius.
ATTICA
Weather: Generally clear with sparse clouds from midday.
Winds: Variable 2 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 12 to 27 degrees Celsius.
THESSALONIKI
Weather: Sparse clouds which will thicken from the afternoon.
Winds: Variable 2 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 10 to 25 degrees Celsius.
FORECAST FOR SUNDAY 07-04-2024
Initially in Macedonia, Thrace, the islands of the northern and eastern Aegean and from midday in Thessaly, the Sporades, eastern Sterea, Evia and gradually in the eastern Peloponnese, the Cyclades and Crete clouds transiently increased with local rains or showers and possibly isolated storms. In the evening in the north the weather will improve.
In the rest of the country, generally clear weather and only in the midday and afternoon hours in the continental areas will clouds develop and there will be local rain in the mountains.
Winds will blow north northwest 4 to 6 and locally in the seas 7 Beaufort. Quickly from the northeast they will turn into an east northeaster 5 to 7 Beaufort.
The temperature will rise slightly in the west. It will reach 24 to 26 degrees in the mainland and 27 to 28 degrees in places and 22 to 24 degrees Celsius in the island country.
FORECAST FOR MONDAY 08-04-2024
In the eastern parts of Thessaly, Evia, the Sporades, eastern Sterea, eastern Peloponnese, the Cyclades and Crete, clouds temporarily increased with local rains. The phenomena will soon be limited in Crete and in the rest of the regions the weather will improve.
In the rest of the country, generally clear weather with a few temporary clouds in the midday and afternoon hours in the continental highlands.
The winds will blow in the east north northeast 6 to 7 and locally in the Aegean 8 Beaufort with a slight weakening from the evening. In the west initially from east directions 4 to 6 Beaufort gradually turning to north directions with the same intensity.
The temperature will drop, mainly in the east.
FORECAST FOR TUESDAY 09-04-2024
In Crete and the Dodecanese, clouds temporarily increased with local rains or showers until the afternoon.
In the rest of the country generally clear weather and only in the continental mountains in the midday and afternoon hours will clouds develop.
The winds will initially blow north northeast, in the west 3 to 5, in the east 4 to 6 and locally in the Aegean 7 Beaufort. They will gradually turn to northwesterly 4 to 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will not change appreciably.
FORECAST FOR WEDNESDAY 10-04-2024
Generally clear weather and clouds will develop only in the continental highlands in the midday and afternoon hours.
Winds will blow in the west from west directions 3 to 5 and in the east north northwest 4 to 5 and locally in the Aegean 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will rise slightly.
