In the night to Monday it will remain mostly cloudy or clear over the northern half. In the south, on the other hand, more compact clouds paired with Saharan dust and some rain are spreading. In addition, it cools down to 15 degrees under the clouds in the southwest and 5 degrees under the clear sky in the northeast.
The north and the east start the new week with sunshine. Meanwhile, showers and local thunderstorms are already on the way in the south and west, which can spread and intensify as the day progresses. In principle, this applies to the entire south-west half of the country. In addition to lightning-intensive thunderstorms with the risk of heavy rain of up to 60 liters per square meter as well as small to medium hail and gusty winds, even more intense phenomena unfortunately cannot be ruled out again. The whole thing happens at an overall warm temperature level of often 22 to 27 degrees, which also goes hand in hand with a good portion of muggy weather. Only in the sea wind does it stay noticeably fresher at around 16 degrees.
