Monday started out sunny in the north-east of the country, the German weather service (DWD) announced on Sunday in Offenbach. In the afternoon, heavy rain showers and thunderstorms will move in from the southwest, some of which will be accompanied by hail and stormy gusts. It will usually be muggy and warm with maximum values between 24 and 27 degrees. According to the DWD, a change of sun and clouds will determine the weather on Tuesday. A few showers or short thunderstorms cannot be ruled out.
