Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – The stormy weather is not over for the Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarlanders either. There will be strong to stormy gusts until Monday, as the German weather service (DWD) in Offenbach announced. In addition, it rains heavily, especially in the northern mountains. Heavy showers and individual thunderstorms in connection with sometimes heavy gusts of wind are to be expected, especially on Monday night. The DWD issued a severe weather warning for both countries for locations from a height of 600 meters. There could be uprooted trees, damaged roofs and falling objects. It will continue to rain on Monday, with snow or snow showers to be expected above 400 meters. The maximum temperatures are between seven and ten degrees. According to the DWD, only isolated gusts of wind are possible in the mountains on Tuesday.
