Offenbach (dpa / lhe) – In Hesse, mild temperatures are expected in the coming days, but before that it can be dangerously slippery on some roads. Especially in the middle and north of the state there is a significant risk of black ice from freezing rain on Monday night, locally with severe weather potential, as the German Weather Service (DWD) explained on Sunday in Offenbach.

According to the forecasts, on Monday it will be mostly cloudy and the precipitation will gradually move eastwards. The maximum values ​​reach three to eight degrees. On Tuesday the sky over Hesse was cloudy to overcast, and it could rain at times. The temperatures climb to a maximum of seven degrees in the north and ten degrees in the south. Partly persistent rain is expected on Wednesday, and it should be very mild with highs of 11 to 14 degrees.
