Weather – Offenbach am Main – Uncomfortable and windy Whitsun weekend – Panorama

Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – Wind, clouds and rain showers await the people in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland at Whitsun. At the beginning of the long weekend, showers, individual thunderstorms and fresh winds with strong to stormy gusts are to be expected, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Offenbach on Saturday. For Sunday, the meteorologists estimated the tendency to shower as low and the temperatures climb up to 18 degrees. However, winds and strong gusts are also to be expected locally.

On Monday, rain is expected to set in again from the northwest, which will spread to the southeast during the course of the day. In the evenings there can be individual thunderstorms in the north. There is a moderate to fresh wind blowing and stormy gusts are possible. The maximum temperatures are between 16 and 19 degrees. In the mountains, the thermometer reaches a maximum of 13 degrees.
