Offenbach (dpa / sn) – At the weekend it will only rain a little east of the Elbe. The next week will bring thunderstorms and showers to Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Saturday. Apart from the fact that some raindrops fall in the east of Saxony, the DWD says it will remain sunny on Saturday with maximum temperatures of up to 17 degrees. Frost is to be expected in certain areas at night. For Sunday the weather experts expect a lot of sunshine with loose clouds with maximum temperatures between 17 and 19 degrees. In mountainous regions like the Harz, the maximum temperatures are somewhat lower between 12 and 17 degrees.
On Monday, the temperatures rise to 19 to 23 degrees, according to the meteorologists. It will remain sunny and rainless. Only Tuesday there will be more clouds and expected and thunderstorms and showers in the afternoon and in the evening. Even on Wednesday night, the DWD expects heavy cloud cover and individual showers.
