Offenbach (dpa/lhe) – People in Hesse can look forward to a sunny and mild start to spring on Sunday. Even after the weekend, there will be plenty of sunshine and few clouds in the sky, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Saturday. Only in the southwest of Hesse will the sky remain partly cloudy on Sunday, but it will not rain. The maximum temperatures are between 12 and 16 degrees. According to the DWD, there will also be a weak to moderate wind, which will weaken towards the evening. On Monday night, temperatures will drop to two degrees in the south and zero to minus three degrees in the north.

According to the DWD, the new week also starts sunny and dry. The maximum temperatures on Monday are 15 to 18 degrees, at higher altitudes between 11 and 14 degrees. At night, however, it cools down significantly again, according to the DWD. Widespread frost is to be expected.
