Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – The weather in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland remains predominantly summery over the weekend. It will be sunny and hot, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced. The maximum temperatures on Wednesday are between 28 and 31 degrees, in the mountains around 26 degrees. According to the DWD, the temperatures should break the 30-degree mark in the coming days as well, on Friday up to 32 degrees are possible. On Friday afternoons, however, there can be heavy showers and thunderstorms from the Eifel to the Palatinate.
