Offenbach (dpa / lhe) – Strong to stormy gusts will continue to blow in Hesse until Monday. In addition, the sky remains very cloudy, it rains continuously, especially in the low mountain ranges, as reported by the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach. In the night to Monday, the wind will be even stronger. There will also be heavy showers and thunderstorms. For altitudes over 600 meters in the Gießen, Kassel and Darmstadt regions, the DWD issued a severe weather warning against hurricane-force gusts.
Stormy gusts will continue to blow from the west on Monday. It’s raining at noon, snow is to be expected above 400 meters. The maximum temperatures are between six and ten degrees, on the mountain peaks they reach around three degrees. On Tuesday, isolated gusts of wind are still possible in the mountains, at the latest on Wednesday there will only be a weak wind, according to the DWD.
