Frost is forming in the mountains and in Westphalia, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Thursday in Offenbach. Snow and sleet can be expected in parts of North Rhine-Westphalia. The DWD warns of slipperiness locally. On Thursday, meteorologists expect light snowfall above 200 meters. In the mountains, two to four centimeters of fresh snow is possible until evening. The maximum temperatures are one to three degrees. Above 300 meters there can be a slight permafrost at zero to minus two degrees. On Friday night it can snow again. Sleet is also possible. It is common to expect smoothness at lows of one to minus four degrees. Also on Friday it can snow with maximum values between one degree in the east in the east and four degrees on the Lower Rhine. In the high areas, permafrost at around minus two degrees is possible. – – .
