Schwerin (dpa / mv) – It remains wintry in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: According to the German Weather Service (DWD), there will be heavier snowfall on Thursday morning, but this will decrease over the course of the day. In the east, the snow subsides faster than in the west. The maximum temperatures during the day are between 0 and 2 degrees. “Where it snows, slipperiness is possible through mud and fresh snow,” said a DWD spokesman. Especially in the evening and the next night, the risk of frost and slipperiness increases.

Despite the slipperiness, there were only a few accidents on the streets on Thursday night, as a police spokesman in Rostock announced in the morning. Only two to three accidents caused by the ice have been reported.
