Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – The weekend in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland begins with sunny winter weather. On Saturday morning, fields of fog will first dissolve, as the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach announced. As the day progresses, it will be clear to sunny. Towards evening it will be windy, especially in the high altitudes.

According to the forecast, it will remain dry with highs of between three and eight degrees. In the night to Sunday the sky will be slightly cloudy or clear, isolated fog and ice can be expected. Temperatures are expected to drop to minus one and minus five degrees.

According to the DWD, it will be cloudy on Sunday. Occasionally, strong to stormy gusts in the mountains cannot be ruled out. The temperatures should climb to seven to eleven degrees.
