Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – It’s getting uncomfortable in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. Tuesday started with initially dense clouds and precipitation from the west, said the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach. In the mountains, snow and ice can be expected at first. From noon there will be wind and sometimes gusts of wind. The maximum temperatures are therefore between four and seven degrees. Rainfall is expected to subside on Wednesday night. The temperatures drop to five to one degree.
According to the DWD, Wednesday begins with clouds and occasional showers. From midday it will usually be dry with maximum values between six and ten degrees. Strong, sometimes stormy winds are blowing from the west, which will ease towards evening.
