Offenbach (dpa / lnw) – In the coming days it can rain, snow and be slippery in North Rhine-Westphalia. On Wednesday it will initially rain lightly in the course of the afternoon, snow and ice can be expected at high altitudes, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in the morning. The maximum values are between two and five degrees, in the higher areas there is sometimes light permafrost at zero degrees.
It will initially be cloudy on Thursday night. A continuous area of precipitation brings snow in the highlands and rain in the lowlands. Later it can also snow in the lowlands. The weather service warns of ice. The lows are between two and zero degrees, in the mountains between zero and minus three degrees.
On Thursday there will be occasional snow showers, fresh snow in the mountains. It is still smooth with highs between two and five degrees, in the mountains minus two to two degrees.
