Mainz / Saarbrücken (dpa / lrs) – In Rhineland-Palatinate and the Saarland, it will rain in the coming days and also be a little milder. As the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Monday, the day begins with a thick cloud cover. Plus it’s raining. In the afternoon it will be dry in some areas with maximum temperatures between three and seven degrees. In the night of Tuesday it remains very cloudy, but only local rain falls. The temperatures drop to five degrees in Saarland and zero degrees in the Westerwald.

According to the forecast, gray clouds will also dominate the sky on Tuesday. In addition, there is heavy rain. It remains mild with six degrees in the high areas and eleven degrees on the Rhine. Stiff gusts can blow in the mountains. On Wednesday night it is covered with occasional showers. The meteorologists reckon with a maximum of six degrees.
