Offenbach (dpa/lhs) – People in Hesse have to be prepared for an overcast sky and rain on Friday. Occasionally there could also be thunderstorms with heavy rain, said the German Weather Service (DWD). In the afternoon, however, the weather slowly calmed down again. According to the DWD, the temperatures are between 26 and 31 degrees with moderate wind and around 22 degrees at high altitudes. Storm gusts are also possible during thunderstorms. At night, the sky should slowly clear up in many places. The DWD does not expect rain.

Saturday in Hesse is expected to be clear to cloudy with no precipitation. The thermometer shows 23 to 27 degrees in light to moderate wind and 19 degrees at high altitudes. According to the forecast, it will remain cloudy to clear and dry overnight.

On Sunday, the temperatures will rise again slightly to 26 to 29 degrees with moderate wind and at least 24 degrees at high altitudes. Also this night it stays dry. On Monday, the values ​​should then rise to 27 to 30 degrees, in the higher mountains to 25 degrees.
