Stormy gusts threaten in the mountains. Tuesday starts cloudy, rain falls in both federal states, according to the DWD. Later the sun shows up, the temperatures should rise to values ​​between 10 and 15 degrees. At times, gusts of wind and heavy gusts of wind could blow at high altitudes. Showers must be expected.

In the night of Wednesday, the showers initially move to the southeast. According to the meteorologists, rain is only likely to fall in the southern Palatinate. The lowest temperatures are therefore between 2 and 7 degrees. In the course of Wednesday night, the wind should ease significantly. During the day, however, it remains alternately to very cloudy. In Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate, rain and sleet showers as well as thunderstorms must be expected. It could get chilly with highs between 8 and 12 degrees.
