Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland expect friendly weather with many hours of sunshine. It will remain dry and warm on Tuesday, with temperatures between 16 and 19 degrees, as reported by the German Weather Service (DWD). During the day there will be a weak easterly wind.
In the night of Wednesday, however, the temperatures slip again to five to zero degrees, in the mountains to minus four degrees. Widespread ground frost is to be expected.
After some patches of fog have cleared up in the morning, the DWD expects very sunny weather for Wednesday as well. In the Eifel, however, it remains cloudy at times. The maximum values are between 18 and 20 degrees. A light wind is blowing from different directions.
