Weather – Offenbach am Main – Little sun and rain in Thuringia in April – Panorama

Erfurt/Offenbach (dpa/th) – In April, Thuringia was the country with the least sunshine nationwide. As reported by the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach on Friday, the country only had 165 hours of sunshine last month. The sunniest region in Germany with around 235 hours of sunshine was Schleswig-Holstein.

In addition, there was far too little precipitation in Thuringia, at 45 liters per square meter. The long-term average for the month is 58 liters. However, the average of 6.8 degrees on the thermometer corresponded to the long-term average.
