As the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Offenbach, the maximum values are ten to twelve degrees, at high altitudes around eight degrees. In the night of Thursday there can be fog or high fog in areas with lows of three to zero degrees, in higher altitudes to minus three degrees. Slight ground frost can occur widely. Especially in the mountainous regions, local slipperiness is possible. Thursday will then be cloudy, partly overcast or foggy. In the course of the day, however, it loosens up in areas, especially in the southwest half. At times the sun can be seen at maximum temperatures of ten to twelve degrees. The night on Friday stays dry with minimum temperatures of six to three degrees, at higher altitudes the temperature drops below freezing point.
