Offenbach (dpa) – According to the German Weather Service (DWD), Wednesday was the first hot day of the year in this country. The DWD tweeted in the late afternoon that the first temperature values above 30 degrees were measured at the stations in Karlsruhe and Mannheim at 5 p.m. It was also summery hot in Worms and at the Ohlsbach station on Wednesday. The meteorologists evaluate temperatures from 30 degrees as heat.
