According to the German Weather Service (DWD), thick clouds will move over both federal states on Sunday. At times light rain or drizzle should fall – so only a few loosening is to be expected in the course of the day. According to the meteorologists, the maximum temperatures on the Rhine, Moselle and Saar are between eight and eleven degrees, in the mountains around six degrees.

The showers should initially subside in the night of Monday, but will start again later in the northeast. According to the DWD, lowest temperatures are between five and two degrees. The week starts mostly cloudy, with a few sunny sections. Instead, showers will fall again on Monday – especially in the northeast. Maximum temperatures are between six and eleven degrees.

In the night of Tuesday, a thick cloud cover is likely to be over both federal states. Fog forms locally at low temperatures between five and one degree. In some areas, light frost could form near the ground. During the day, the sun occasionally shows up and, according to the meteorologists, the temperature then rises to values ​​between seven and eleven degrees.
