Offenbach (dpa / lhe) – After unusually hot days, the week in Hesse starts with a significant cooling. The German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach announced that it would initially be cloudy on Monday morning. Showers and thunderstorms are expected in some areas of the country. In the course of the day it will loosen up from the north-west. The temperatures reach 19 degrees in the Kassel area to 27 degrees in the south. During the night it stays dry with a drop of between 13 and 9 degrees.
According to the DWD, it will be clear and largely dry on Tuesday. The maximum temperatures are between 25 and 30 degrees.
