Weather – Offenbach am Main – Cloudy winter weather expected in Hesse – Panorama

Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) – The Hessians have to prepare for gray winter weather at the weekend. It will be foggy and cloudy, wet, but also significantly milder, said a meteorologist from the German Weather Service (DWD). On Friday morning, slippery or freezing wet conditions are to be expected even in the lowlands. The frost is over there for the time being – even at night.

Otherwise it is mostly cloudy to very cloudy. Locally, rain is to be expected again and again, especially in the north. According to the DWD, the temperatures are between a maximum of two and five degrees. On the other hand, it could still be smooth with snow showers at high altitudes. In the Rhön, up to ten centimeters of fresh snow is possible again on Saturday night before the snow slowly melts.

On Saturday it was cloudy to overcast during the day and there was light rain in some areas, especially in the east and north. Even in the mountains, the snow quickly turns to rain. In the southwest, on the other hand, there is hardly any precipitation. The maximum temperatures climb to five to seven degrees. On Sunday there will again be a lot of clouds. But mostly it was dry.
