Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – Fools in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland can be happy: On Shrove Monday and beyond it will be bright and mild with the exception of a few clouds. Up to 15 degrees are possible on Shrove Monday, as reported by the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach. It will even be sunny in the south. There will also be a weak to moderate wind from the south-west, which will decrease towards evening. The night will be cloudy, but will remain dry with lows between 6 and 1 degrees.

On Tuesday, temperatures will rise to between 9 and 14 degrees over the course of the day and there will be no rain. In the night to Wednesday it cools down to 4 to 0 degrees. Fog may form in places.
