Offenbach (dpa/lhe) – A mix of sun, clouds and showers determines the weather in Hesse at the weekend. After a sunny Saturday morning, the cumulus clouds are increasing, as reported by the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach. Local showers and thunderstorms are to be expected, especially in northern and central Hesse. South of the Main, on the other hand, it mostly stays dry and sunny. Temperatures are forecast to be between 20 and 24 degrees. On Sunday night it will remain cloudy with lows between twelve and seven degrees.

According to the DWD, it will also be mostly cloudy on Sunday. From noon there should be local showers, thunderstorms and isolated heavy rain. The temperatures are between 17 degrees in the north Hessian mountains and 23 degrees on the mountain road.

At the beginning of the week, the weather is much friendlier: According to the meteorologists, there is a lot of sunshine with maximum values ​​between 22 and 26 degrees.
