Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – After a mild weekend in many places with temperatures of almost 20 degrees, November begins unsteadily and cool. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), this is due to the low “Nael”, whose cold front will pull over Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland in the coming days. “But it doesn’t get much colder immediately, rather the maximum values go back a little every day,” said a DWD meteorologist in Offenbach on Sunday.

For Monday, the DWD predicted maximum temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees, on Tuesday 9 to 12 and on Wednesday only 7 to 11 degrees. On Tuesday, rain will also come from the southwest. At night there is light frost locally near the ground. “So the real autumn weather is back again,” said the meteorologist.
