Essen (dpa / lsw) – North Rhine-Westphalia is expected to expect new snow at the weekend. According to current forecasts by the German Weather Service (DWD) in Essen, it should start snowing on Sunday night. How much snow the state expects is currently still unclear, said a spokesman for the DWD on Thursday. During the course of Sunday, the snow could turn into rain. It will probably be a “colorful potpourri of different types of precipitation,” said the DWD spokesman. During the day there are temperatures just above zero degrees, at night in the mountains it can be up to minus seven degrees.
