The weather in the country has improved today, Saturday 2/3, after the storms of the previous days. But from Monday 4/3 new short bad weather is coming, with a strong front of rain and storms.
According to the forecast of Clearchos Marousakis, at the end of the week a polar air mass will visit Europe.
“Either it will reach our country so we will be talking about very cold and snow at low altitudes or it will move further north and give us southerlies, rain and African dust.” He pointed out that around March 10-12 it is possible that the cold will return.

Monday 04-03-2024
In central Macedonia, the islands of the eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese, temporary clouds with the possibility of local rain in the early morning and in the rest of the country a few local clouds. From the midday hours, initially in the west and gradually in the central and northern areas, the clouds will increase and there will be rain, while storms, possibly strong in places, will occur in the Ionian and western continental areas from the afternoon.
Visibility in the morning hours will be locally limited. Meteorological conditions favor the transport of African dust mainly in the central and southern regions.
Winds will blow from south directions 4 to 6 and gradually in the seas to 7 Beaufort. From the afternoon in the west they will turn to westerlies up to 6 Beaufort. The temperature will rise slightly mainly in the south.
Tuesday 05-03-2024
In the north and east of the island country rains and storms possibly strong in places. From late afternoon the phenomena will weaken. In the rest of the country the weather will be unsettled with the manifestation of phenomena mainly in the west.
The winds will blow to the west and south from west directions 4 to 6 and in the southern seas locally 7 Beaufort. In the eastern island country from south directions 5 to 7 Beaufort which will quickly turn to west northwest 4 to 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will drop slightly.
Wednesday 06-03-2024
In the eastern island country clouds temporarily increased with rain and sporadic storms with gradual weakening. In the rest of the country, unsettled at times cloudy with occasional local rains in the continental areas.
Winds will blow from north directions 4 to 6 Beaufort. The temperature will not change appreciably.
