General situation
Despite a slight downward trend in atmospheric pressure due to the start of weakening of the British high pressure area, we continue to enjoy very calm weather. And like the previous days, it is the clouds and the greyness in the plains and the sun in the mountains that dominate the weather news on Monday.
Details by regions
From neighboring regions of the English Channel to banks of the Loire until in the valleys of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the greyness is again very present in the morning. Be careful on the roads because of the fog which can greatly reduce visibility. In the afternoon, a few shy clearings can develop north of the Seine. It is cool: temperatures vary from -3 ° to 3 ° C in the morning to reach 2 ° C in the Saône valley under the fog at 8 ° C over the Nantes area.
From the Aquitaine basin to Midi-Toulouse and especially in the Garonne valley, the morning gray is thick, before giving way to some sunny spells in the afternoon. From -2 to 4 ° C in the morning, you have 6 ° C in Agen under the grayness and 14 ° C in Saint-Girons in the afternoon sun.
In Languedoc-Roussillon, after a cloudy morning, clearings are essential, except on the Hérault. It is the opposite in Corsica : after a sunny morning, low clouds from the sea invade the coastal plains. The mistral rises in the lower Rhône valley, being able to blow up to 50 km / h in gusts in the evening. From 0 to 5 ° C in the morning, you have 9 to 13 ° C in the afternoon.
Everywhere else, above the greyness in the plain, you will enjoy a new and very beautiful sunny day in the mountains. It is cold in the morning with frequent and sometimes marked frosts, then in the afternoon, you will have 10 ° C under cover with a softer and very pleasant feeling in full sun.
