It is reported that in Transcarpathia on the Latoritsa and Tisa rivers in the Chop region, water levels will continue to rise:
- on Latoritsa by 0.3 – 0.6 m, with a high water layer on the floodplain, flooding of the road with. M. Geyevtsi – Tisyanka village (II hazard level – orange);
- on the Tisza by 1.5 – 2.0 m, with water outlet to the floodplain (hazard level I – yellow).
In addition, on January 8-9, on the rivers of the Western Bug basin (Lviv and Volyn oblasts), water levels are expected to rise by 0.1 – 0.5 m, in some places an initial release of water is possible.
And on the rivers of the Pripyat basin, the water levels will continue to rise by 0.1-0.3 m, in some places water may come out to the floodplain.
