According to information provided by the National Meteorological Service (SMN), it is expected that the rains will continue this Monday in the Yucatan Peninsula. This is due to the Tropical Wave (No. 20) which will travel through said area and gradually the Mexican southeast, generating heavy to very heavy rains over these regions, with intense punctual rains in areas of Chiapas.
“Partly cloudy to cloudy sky during the day, with strong punctual rains and electric shocks in Campeche, Yucatán and Quintana Roo. Hot to hot environment. East component wind from 10 to 20 km/h in the region, with gusts of 50 to 60 km/h in coastal areas of Campeche and Yucatan.”, assures the forecast.

It is expected that this Monday the Mexican monsoon over the northwest of the national territory will continue to cause heavy to very heavy rains with possible hailstorms in Sonora, Chihuahua, Durango and Sinaloa, as well as afternoon showers in the Baja California Peninsula.
For its part, the possible tropical storm (“Howard” will move to the southwest of the coast of Baja California Sur. Finally, the hot to very hot environment will continue, mostly over the entire northeast and north of Mexican territory.
