General weather forecast

During this day, the storm of very heavy to extraordinary rains will persist in the south, east and southeast of Mexico, as well as in the Yucatan Peninsula, due to a possible tropical storm in the Gulf of Tehuantepec, in interaction with the monsoon trough. a low pressure area with a probability of cyclonic development off the coasts of Oaxaca and Guerrero, and a low pressure circulation to the southwest of the Gulf of Mexico.

For its part, a low pressure channel over western and central Mexico and the entry of humidity from both coasts will cause occasional heavy showers and rains in these regions, including the Valley of Mexico.

All of the aforementioned rains will be accompanied by electric shocks, gusts of wind and possible hail.

Finally, a cold front will extend over the south and southeast of the United States, reinforcing the probability of rain and showers in areas of Tamaulipas and San Luis Potosí, while the mass of cold air associated with the front will favor a cooling of daytime temperatures. on entities of the Mesa del Norte and the center of the national territory, in addition to causing strong gusts of wind and high waves on the coast of Tamaulipas and Veracruz.
