On Saturday, an area of high pressure north of the Netherlands will bring calm, typically autumnal weather, with an air pressure of around 1034 hPa. In the south the weather will start with clouds and a few drops of light rain, which will quickly move away towards Belgium. In the afternoon, clearing from the north will allow sunlight to pass through. The winds coming from the north-east will be moderate, bringing cooler air: in the north the maximum temperatures will reach 11 degrees, while in the south and in the Zeeland region they will they will be able to record peaks of up to 13-14 degrees.
On Sunday the center of high pressure will move eastwards, however maintaining its stabilizing effect on the weather: after a cold night, with possible ground frosts in inland areas, the day promises to be sunny with some thin clouds. Winds from the east and north-east will be weak or moderate, and temperatures will not exceed 9-10 degrees in the north-east, reaching 11-12 degrees in the rest of the country.
The influence of high pressure will guarantee shower-free and sunny weather on Monday too, with night temperatures close to zero and maximums between 11 and 13 degrees. During the week, the mild climate is expected to continue without showers thanks to a persistent high pressure field, with alternating sun and some clouds. Maximum temperatures will vary between 11 and 14 degrees, while at night the thermometer will drop close to zero, especially in rural areas.
