Over the northern half of the country, the sky is variable, and even very cloudy in the morning over the Paris region, Champagne-Ardenne, Lorraine and Burgundy.
A few small rains circulate along the borders. In the afternoon the weather is calm and dry, the sky divided between small cumulus clouds and clearings.
In the southern half, the weather is generally sunny, hot in the afternoon. However, sea entrances of low clouds persist during the day over the Basque Country, even extending along the Pyrenees in the afternoon. They dissipate more easily around the perimeter of the Gulf of Lion.
The minimum temperatures range from 10 to 16 degrees in the interior of the country, 13 to 19 by the sea. The maximums vary between 19 and 24 degrees in a small northern half of the country, between 24 and 30 in Alsace in the south. -West, another 27 to 33 degrees south-east.
