Today and Wednesday afternoon temperatures will rise in most placest above 31 degrees Celsius. It will be a little colder today in the northeast of the Czech Republic, on Wednesday in the west of the country. Heavy storms with torrential rain, gusty winds and hail may occur in the west and south-west of Bohemia this afternoon and evening.
“Temperatures will reach above 34 degrees Celsius today in the south of Moravia, tomorrow (Wednesday) especially in Polabí and in central and south-eastern Moravia,” the meteorologists said. According to the current weather forecast, the thermometer could show up to 37 degrees Celsius in places in the south of Moravia.
Even on Wednesday, the sky will be clear to partly clear, during the day we expect an increase in cloud cover from the west and in places, especially in Bohemia, showers or thunderstorms, occasionally even strong ones. Lowest night temperatures 20 to 16 °C, in the northeast up to 13 °C. Highest daily temperatures 29 to 34 °C, in the southeast up to 36 °C. A weak, sometimes mild southeast wind of 2 to 6 m/s during the day will later change to a westerly to southwesterly wind in the Czech Republic, and it will temporarily strengthen during thunderstorms.
Tropics even at the end of the week
On Thursday, it is expected to be mostly cloudy, especially during the day with occasional showers or thunderstorms, sometimes strong. In the evening, the precipitation stops and the clouds decrease. Lowest night temperatures 22 to 18 °C. Highest daily temperatures 28 to 33 °C, in the southeast up to 35 °C. Weak, temporarily mild westerly to northwesterly wind 2 to 6 m/s during the day, it will temporarily increase in thunderstorms.
The weather on Friday will also be tropical in the Czech Republic, it is expected to be clear to partly clear again, temporarily cloudy during the day with occasional showers or thunderstorms. Lowest night temperatures 20 to 16 °C. Highest daily temperatures 28 to 33 °C, in the southeast up to 35 °C. Weak, temporarily mild westerly to northwesterly wind 2 to 5 m/s during the day, it will temporarily increase in thunderstorms.

A light southwesterly wind will change to a light northwesterly at 2 to 6 m/s during the day and will temporarily increase in thunderstorms.
