The Meteorological Authority announced the weather details from Thursday, August 03, 2023, to Tuesday, August 08, 2023.
Today, the authority confirmed, in a statement, that hot, humid weather prevails during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern coasts, very hot in southern Sinai and the south of the country, hot and humid at night in all parts. High humidity, which increases the feeling of hot weather throughout the day.
The weather details are as follows:
Thursday 03 August 2023:
– Water showers from early morning until approximately six o’clock in the morning on agricultural and highway roads close to water bodies leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, Canal cities and central Sinai.
– Light rain in areas of the far south of the country, Halayeb Shalatin – Abu Simbel – Lake Nasser, at intermittent intervals, and it may be thunderstorms at times, with an incidence of approximately 30%.
– Winds are active in areas of Greater Cairo, South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt, causing sand and dust in areas in the far south of the country.
