The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) foresees for today, Tuesday, locally heavy showers and storms and accompanied by hail in the interior of the extreme north of the peninsula and in areas close to the Iberian system, as well as significantly high temperatures in the depressions of Aragon and Catalonia.
Today there will be cloudy intervals in the north of the Canary Islands and, in the morning, in the north of Galicia, Asturias and the Cadiz coast, with the possibility of coastal fogs in points of the Cantabrian coast.
The sky will be slightly cloudy at the beginning of the day, or with some high clouds, in the rest of the peninsula, although daytime cloudiness will form in the interior, which could cause showers and storms, mainly in the afternoon, in much of the northern half.
The storms will be more likely and intense in the interior of the extreme north of the peninsula and in areas close to the Iberian system, where they can be locally strong and accompanied by hail. On the other hand, it will be less cloudy in Andalusia, the Mediterranean area and in the rest of the Canary Islands.
Decreasing daytime temperatures in the interior of the eastern third of the country and on the Cantabrian coast, and with few changes the rest. They will be higher than usual for these dates in Galicia, the northeast peninsula and the Balearic Islands, exceeding 35 degrees in the depressions of the northeast and southwest.
Wind from the north in the Canary Islands, from the northeast in Galicia and on the southern coast of the Levante and from the southeast in the interior southeast of the peninsula, with light wind prevailing in the rest of the country.

Very strong gusts are not ruled out during a storm.
Cantabria
Little cloudy with some intervals of low clouds and possible fogs in the early morning with intervals of high clouds afterwards until the evolutionary cloudiness increases from noon in the interior, with showers and storms, more likely, intense and frequent in mountain areas where they can be locally strong and accompanied by hail. Temperatures without changes or in slight decrease in the minimum and slight increase in the maximum. Variable loose winds prevailing in the northeast.
Basque Country
Little cloudy with some low cloud intervals and possible fogs at dawn, with intervals of high clouds afterwards until the evolutionary cloudiness increases from noon in the interior, with showers and storms, more likely, intense and frequent in Álava, where they can be locally strong and be accompanied by hail . Temperatures unchanged or slightly decreasing. Variable loose winds with a predominance of the north component in central hours of the day.
Castile and Leon
Little cloudy with medium and high clouds and evolutionary cloudiness intervals. Scattered showers with thunderstorm, more widespread in the north and east, which can be locally strong and with hail. Minimum temperatures with slight changes, and maximums without changes in the east and rising in the rest. Winds from the northeast to the east, with strong gusts in storm areas.
Navarra
Little cloudy with intervals of medium and high cloudiness accompanied, from noon, by evolving clouds, with probable showers and storms, which can be locally strong and accompanied by hail, not expected on the Cantabrian slope. Aragon
Little cloudy or clear in the morning with a tendency in the afternoon to cloudy intervals of diurnal evolution. In the afternoon, probable showers and storms in the northern third, Teruel and Ibérica de Zaragoza, which can be locally strong, with hail and very strong gusts of wind. Nighttime temperatures with hardly any changes and slight decreases in the daytime ones, which will remain significantly high. Variable loose wind.
Catalonia
Predominance of slightly cloudy or clear skies until cloudiness increases in the afternoon with intervals of diurnal evolution in the interior of the northern third. In the afternoon, showers and storms, likely in the Pyrenees and less likely in the Pre-Pyrenees, which can be locally strong and with hail. Temperatures with hardly any changes compared to the previous day; daytime significantly high. In the Ampurdán, wind from light to moderate from the north with a tendency to this light and then to the south; in the rest, light wind with a predominance of the southern component.
Estremadura
Little cloudy with evolutionary cloudiness, without ruling out scattered showers with thunderstorms, more likely in the north. Temperatures unchanged or slightly rising. Winds from the south and southeast, with probable strong gusts associated with the storms.
Madrid’s community

Likely locally heavy showers and storms with hail in the northern third of Guadalajara, which are not ruled out in the rest of the high areas of that province and which could spread locally and occasionally to Toledo and high points of the Serranía de Cuenca. Minimum temperatures unchanged or in slight increase, more pronounced in the southeast quadrant and in the rest of La Mancha. Valencia

Canary Islands
