By the evening they will be everywhere, and in places in Western Bulgaria and the mountainous regions the quantities will be significant.
Before noon in the eastern half of the country, a moderate southerly wind will blow and temperatures will be higher there. In the west it will be almost quiet, but in the evening the wind will shift from the west-northwest, it will increase and cold air will begin to invade with it.
Yellow code for potentially hazardous weather and significant precipitation has been announced in 8 regions of the country – Pleven, Vratsa, Montana, Vidin, Sofia region, Sofia city, Pernik and Kyustendil.
On the night of Saturday in the mountainous regions of Western Bulgaria, the rain will change to snow. The maximum temperatures will be from 10°-13° in northwestern Bulgaria to 17°-19° in the east, in Sofia – about 13°.
Atmospheric pressure will significantly decrease and will be lower than the average for the month.
It will prevail along the Black Sea sunny weather. A moderate, temporarily strong wind will blow, mainly from the south, but by the evening it will be oriented from the west-northwest. Cloudiness will increase and thicken in the evening and rain will fall in many places by midnight. Maximum temperatures: 14°-16°. The temperature of the sea water is from 10° along the northern coast to 16° along the southern coast. The excitement of the sea will be 2-3 points.
In the mountains, the weather will be dynamic. Sunny weather will prevail before noon. After noon, the cloudiness will increase and thicken, and in the massifs of Western Bulgaria it will start to rain, above about 2000 meters – from snow. By the evening it will also rain in the east. A moderate to strong wind will blow from the west-southwest, but in the evening it will shift from the northwest and cold air will begin to invade with it. The maximum temperature at a height of 1200 meters will be around 10°, at 2000 meters – around 4°, but in the evening they will quickly decrease.

At night against Saturday in the mountains in the western half of the country, the snowfall line will drop significantly and the rain will turn to snow. Amounts will be significant and in combination with gale force winds there will be blizzard conditions.
On Saturday, the north-westerly wind will increase further, it will be strong and stormy. It will be cloudy, with precipitation in Eastern Bulgaria – significant in quantity. In the majority of the country, it will rain in the morning, in the high fields of Western Bulgaria and the Pre-Balkans – snow. With the cooling before noon in the northeastern regions, and by the end of the day in the southeastern regions, the rain will change to snow.
In the mountains, there will be blizzards with the intense snowfall and stormy wind, and in the regions with an altitude above 1300-1400 m, an uneven snow cover will also form.
Temperatures will be almost unchanged during the day – from 1°-2° in places in Western Bulgaria to 9°-10° along the Black Sea.
On the night of Sunday in the western regions, a on Sunday morning and in the east the rains will stop. Clouds will break and decrease. It will still be windy, but by the end of the day the wind will ease. Cold weather with minimum temperatures between 0° and 5° and maximum – between 4° and 9°.
