On Tuesday, the National Meteorological Administration updated the forecast for the period February 21 – March 21.
Weather forecast for the week of February 21-28
Thermal values will be higher than those specific for this week, in all regions, but with a more pronounced positive thermal deviation in the extra-Carpathian ones. The rainfall regime will be deficient in the northern, eastern, southeastern and mountainous regions, and otherwise will be generally close to normal for this interval.
Weather forecast for the week of February 28 – March 7
Average temperatures will generally be close to normal for this period, higher in the northeastern regions. Rainfall will be scarce throughout the country, but especially in mountainous areas.
Weather forecast for the week of March 7-14
The average air temperature will have higher values than the normal ones for this interval, on the whole territory of Romania. The pluviometric regime will be generally close to the normal one for this period, but with a tendency towards deficit in the southern regions.
Weather forecast for the week of March 14-21
The averages of the thermal values will be above the specific ones for this week, on the entire territory of Romania. The estimated rainfall for this period will be deficient in most regions, but especially in the western half of the country.
