The KNMI issued code yellow for the northwest on Wednesday morning due to strong gusts of wind up to around 80 kilometers per hour. The wind is from the southwest and can cause disruption to traffic and outdoor activities.
Wednesday will also be turbulent in the rest of the country with strong winds and lots of rain. There is a lot of precipitation, especially in the morning. It will gradually move eastward in the afternoon, although there is still the possibility of some light showers.
Inland we see a lot of clouds, only in the west the sun shines occasionally. The southwest wind brings fresh air. Consequently, the temperature is very mild with highs of around 12 or 13 degrees. Due to the rain and wind, it feels a few degrees cooler.
Thursday will be mostly dry with some sunshine. The rain falls again in the evening. There is less wind and it remains soft with highs around 11 degrees.
