The Department of Estimates at the Meteorological Authority stated that “stable spring weather dominates the eastern basin of the Mediterranean, with temperatures remaining relatively cold, especially during the night. For the month of April, and continues until dawn on Wednesday, when it returns and decreases rapidly, under the influence of an air depression accompanied by cold air masses stationed over Italy,” noting that “the average temperature for the month of April is between 15 and 24 degrees Celsius.”
And it indicated in its evening bulletin, that “the expected weather in Lebanon tomorrow, Sunday, is few clouds, with high clouds, with a tangible rise in temperatures on the mountains and in the interior, as fog forms on the medium elevations in the morning period.”
The Department of Estimates pointed out that “the weather is expected to be sunny on Monday, with a continued rise in temperatures, especially in the mountainous and coastal areas, and a decrease in humidity, as the winds are active in the evening period, with the possibility of the appearance of light layers of dust in the atmosphere.”
And it indicated that “the expected weather for Tuesday will be cloudy to partly cloudy with high clouds, with a sharp rise in temperatures, especially on the coast and in the southern regions, where they exceed their rates for this month; the winds are active and they are loaded with some dust.”
It also stated that “the weather expected on Wednesday is partly cloudy, with a noticeable and rapid decrease in temperatures that become within their averages, and the winds are active and fog forms on the middle elevations, which leads to poor visibility at times.”
The department added that “the surface winds are southwesterly turning to southeasterly, with a speed between 10 and 30 km/h. Sweeping is good on the coast and worse on heights due to fog. The relative humidity on the coast is between 40 and 65%. The sea condition is average wave height; and the water surface temperature is 18 degrees.” Celsius”.
