Weather forecast: a few snowflakes are falling in Gard and Hérault

Snow showers occurred in the plains in the Gard and Hérault this Sunday, January 3. It is also expected to snow next night and Monday.

Small showers move from east to west of the Rhône valley towards the Hérault via the Gard this Sunday, January 3. And as it is very cold, a few flakes fall on the plain. In Nîmes, it snowed for a few minutes, like in Aigues-Mortes or Bagnols-sur-Cèze.

Snow is also falling on the coast of Cap d’Agde in the Hérault.

“But this meteorological situation is difficult to apprehend”, explains Loïc Spadafora on Météo Gard.

#DIRECT 10:25 am – The snow falls lightly on the plains of the North of Gard under a downpour which circulates rather quickly as here near Bagnols-sur-Cèze. These snow showers are heading towards Barjac.

For this Monday, January 4, it will still risk snowing in the Gard and the Rhône valley. And those flakes might stick to the ground.
