Croatia
In Croatia, where the largest number of Czech tourists go in the summer, temperatures will average around thirty degrees. In the capital Zagreb (see forecast table), temperatures will be more than 30 degrees. In the last week of August, they will even reach only 24 degrees at their maximum.
The coast will be a bit warmer, which is good news for tourists who spend their holidays in Croatia most often by the sea. In Split, for example, temperatures will stay around 31 to 33 degrees in the first three weeks. For the rest of the month, they will drop slightly below thirty. With few exceptions, the whole month will be sunny.

It will be similar in Zadar, where it will be a degree or two colder. In contrast, in the south in Dubrovnik, temperatures climb to 35 degrees. It will be warmest according to the web AccuWeather the second week, which will also be the sunniest. Until August 30, temperatures will not fall below 30 degrees.
Italy
Italy also offers the promise of nice weather. If we look at the capital Rome (see the graphic weather forecast), we find that temperatures will be slightly above 30 degrees for almost the whole month. The first week will be quite cloudy, the same is true for the last week of August, which will also be accompanied by storms.

Of course, tourists here too have to reckon with small regional differences. For example, the popular destination of Bibione, which is located in the northern part of the country, will not offer very tropical temperatures in August. They will usually stay slightly below 30 degrees. Visitors can enjoy the suns a lot, the sky will usually be clear or partly cloudy. Only on August 15, meteorologists expect it to be cloudy.
It will be a few degrees warmer in the south of the country. The first week will be warmest in Calabria, when temperatures will reach up to 35 degrees, the next week they will stay around 33 degrees. In the last week, they will fall slightly below 30, there will be more clouds and thunderstorms. But for the rest of the month it will be sunny and cloudless. The forecast for Sicily looks similar.
Greece
Greece is facing a heat wave these days, which will continue. The beginning of August will be almost hellish in many places in the country. In Athens (see graphic forecast), temperatures climb to 40 degrees in the first week.
In the second week, they will range from 33 to 37 degrees and then begin to decline slightly. Until the end of the month, however, they will stay over 30 degrees and the same weather will continue in early September. Forget about rain or clouds.

Very high temperatures will prevail in the first week on the island of Zakynthos, where they will reach up to 38 degrees. From August 11, however, they will fall significantly and by the end of the month they will not exceed 30 degrees, they will range from 24 to 27 degrees.
The first week will also be warmest in Rhodes, temperatures will not fall below 35 degrees. In the next two weeks, they will range from 31 to 33 degrees, and for the rest of the month they will fall by another one to two degrees. It will look similar in Crete. Blue skies and sunshine are expected everywhere throughout August.
Egypt
There is also heat in Egypt, which does not end immediately. In the popular resort, August will gradually begin with 34 degrees. But the first week the temperatures start to rise and at the weekend they climb to 40 degrees. Until the end of the holidays, they will then average around 37 to 38 degrees. With few exceptions, a clear sky awaits tourists.
The first week of August will be warmer in Hurghada (see graphic forecast). The new moon starts there with 36 degrees and gradually the temperatures climb up to 41 degrees. The wave of hellish heat will end in the first third of the month, from August 11 until the end of the holidays, temperatures will range “only” from 32 to 34 degrees.
