Weather: Easter Monday with the temperature in the “red” – 2024-05-08 10:30:45

Hot and high for the season temperatures prevailed today, Easter Monday, in most of the country with the mercury reaching 30 degrees Celsius.

According to meteo.gr, the maximum temperature was recorded at the meteorological station in Trikala and was equal to 29.3 degrees Celsius. Stylida Fthiotida followed with 29 degrees and Vamvakou Farsala with 28.5 degrees Celsius.

In Lefkohori Fthiotida the thermometer showed 28.3 degrees and in Livadia 28.2, while in Thebes 27.9 degrees.

Generally clear weather with sparse clouds at intervals, which will thicken in the midday and afternoon hours in the central and northern highlands. Local showers and possibly isolated storms will occur in the mountains of Macedonia and Thrace. In the evening, the clouds will also thicken in the west.
