The bad weather continues today, Wednesday (13/11), with western Greece being the most affected. According to the EMY emergency bulletin, heavy rains and storms are predicted, accompanied by a high frequency of lightning and localized hail. The strong phenomena will today affect the entire Ionian Sea, Epirus, western Sterea, western Peloponnese and possibly Thessaly.
From Thursday the phenomena will move further east and rains and storms will also occur in Attica, while on Friday they will spread to a large part of the country. In general, the phenomena will remain in our country until Saturday according to meteorologist Yiannis Kallianos.
According to the EMY forecast, Saturday will be cold, with the temperature falling from north to south. The mercury will be 5 to 7 degrees below normal levels for the season.
“We are showing the required attention today,” says meteorologist Clearchos Marousakis about the amounts of water that will fall.

The temperature will rise slightly mainly in the west and south. It will reach 15 degrees in the north, 18 to 21 degrees in the rest of the country and 22 to 24 degrees Celsius in the Dodecanese and Crete.

Weather: Clouds temporarily increased with local rain and isolated thunderstorms. Weak snowfalls will occur in the mountains of Macedonia.
Winds: North northeast 3 to 5 and in the east locally up to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 08 to 15 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia 4 to 5 degrees lower.
IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIROS, WEST STEREA, WEST PELOPONNISOS
Weather: Increased clouds with rain and sporadic thunderstorms. The effects will be strong in places.
Weak snowfalls will occur in the mountains of Epirus.
