LThursday will be cloudier with some light rain over the north of the country. The disturbance, which began in the west of the country the day before, will penetrate the country. In the morning, the sky will be loaded with a few drops and scattered rain from the Grand Est to Center-Val-de-Loire to Aquitaine. At the rear, from Hauts-de-France to the Pays de la Loire region, the clearings will develop with the onset of instability in Brittany. Elsewhere, the sky will be covered with clouds with more sun in Languedoc-Roussillon, Rhône valley and Paca.
In the afternoon, the disturbed wave, already not very active, will lose even more intensity. The clouds will remain in the majority and will produce a few rare showers from Poitou-Charentes, north of Limousin going as far as the Grand Est. Along the Channel, the sky will remain heavy with some showers from Brittany to the Hauts-de-France coast with a moderate southwest wind on the coast. The sun will pierce the clouds over the South-West and will prevail in Languedoc and the lower Rhône valley as far as the Var department. In Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the weather will be variable with cumulus clouds over the Alps which will trigger a few rare showers.
Rising minimum temperatures
The minimum temperatures will be sharply higher, the morning frosts reduced to the relief. In the plains, the thermometer will go from 1 to 7 degrees on the northern half as well as in Rhône-Alpes, lower Rhône valley and Provençal plain. In the southwest, the mercury will drop to 7/11 degrees. Finally, in Corsica, the contrast will be significant with 3 to 7 degrees, in general and up to 10 degrees on Balagne and Cap Corse.
