A Code Yellow Warning for High Winds, effective Tuesday 3:00 p.m. through Wednesday 10:00 a.m., covers much of the country’s nine counties.

In the mountains the gusts will exceed 100 km/h, blowing the snow.
On Tuesday, the National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued the yellow code for the counties of Caraș-Severin, Hunedoara, Gorj, Mehedinți, Vâlcea, Sibiu, Alba, Brașov and Argeș.
The wind will intensify in southern Banat, with speeds generally of 60-80 km/h.
Locally, in the southern Carpathians, especially at altitudes above 1800 m, gusts will exceed 90-100 km/h, causing temporary snowfall.
